Case board
Drag cases across stages. Automations do the rest.
The board is the second most-used view after the case shell. Filters by owner, pathway, and deadline are URL-shareable so standups actually move.
Cases · board
Board · 5 stages · real-time card drag · deadline badges
How it works
Three steps. Opinionated defaults.
- 01
Pick a pathway
Boards are scoped per pathway or unified. Unified view keeps columns consistent across Express Entry, Spousal, PGWP, Study, Visitor — so handoffs stay sane.
- 02
Drag to transition
Drag a card column-to-column. The state machine validates the transition (can't go Submitted → Intake) and fires the per-transition automation.
- 03
Automations fire
Entering "Submitted" arms the AOR webhook. Entering "Docs Pending" sends the dependant upload link. Entering "AOR" schedules biometrics reminders.
Objection handling
The three questions we always get.
Can we customize the stages per firm?
Yes — firms can extend with custom intermediate stages (e.g., "Ready for QA"), but the core 5 stages stay consistent because the state machine, audit log, and IRCC webhook routing depend on them.
What happens when multiple consultants drag the same card?
Optimistic updates with server reconciliation. If two consultants transition the same case within seconds, the later one gets a soft conflict banner showing who moved it, and can override or revert in one click.
Does the board work on mobile?
Kanban drag is available on the mobile app (long-press to grab). On mobile web the view falls back to a sectioned list with stage buttons to reassign — same state machine, simpler interaction.
