Document vault
A vault that reads your documents on upload.
OCR runs automatically. Passport MRZ, LOA DLI numbers, IELTS scores, bank balances — extracted on ingest and saved as searchable metadata. Public upload links for dependants who don't have a portal account.

How it works
Three steps. Opinionated defaults.
- 01
Upload or request
Drag files in, or send a public upload link at /u/[token] for dependants. No client account needed for requested uploads.
- 02
OCR + auto-tag
MRZ on passports, DLI + tuition on LOAs, test scores on IELTS/CELPIP, balance + date on bank statements. Each file gets chips you can search on.
- 03
Expiry + completeness
Passport expiry, police cert age, medical validity — all watched. Vault shows "missing" in red against pathway requirements before you file.
Objection handling
The three questions we always get.
What if OCR misreads a field?
Every OCR-extracted value shows the confidence score and a one-click override. The audit log captures both the OCR value and any manual correction with timestamps.
How are public upload links secured?
Single-use tokens, optional expiry, optional one-time password. All uploads land in the firm's Supabase bucket in ca-central-1 with RLS tied to the case. No public read access.
Can we enforce file-type rules per category?
Yes. Per-firm policy: PDF-only for IRCC forms, JPG/PNG for photos, size caps per type. Rejections explain the rule in the client-facing upload UI.
